IMG_3935It’s a wrap!  We completed our last event of the year this weekend, and we celebrated a successful 2015!

On Saturday, we helped plan and decorate for a family gathering of 31 at a beautiful home in San Rafael.  The key – accommodate the family of many generations and keep dinner simple and yummy.  We took over their grand family room, and one long table added to the family style theme.  Red chevron table runners, gold glittering glassware, and lots of candles made the room sparkle, and gave the whole event a festive, holiday feel.  Sparkly Christmas trees from Trader Joe’s (yep, Trader Joe’s!) added the perfect touch.

The dinner menu was wintery and delicious – thanks to Alta Cuisine for their consistently delicious food.  Appetizers included meatballs in a sweet & sour cranberry sauce, and potato chips and baby carrots served with onion & green goddess dips  (throwback appetizers are always a hit).

The buffet dinner included two salads: hearts of romaine with butternut squash, pecans, beets, fennel & red onions tossed with honey mustard vinaigrette, and french quarter green bean salad with Spanish olives, almonds & creole mustard & sherry vinaigrette; chicken with apricot, sage, shiitake mushroom stuffing & madeira sauce, scalloped potatoes with au gratin topping, and roasted beets, winter squash, carrots & parsnips.  Comfort food at its best.  Dessert was kept simple with hot coffee and tea, chocolate fudge brownies, Christmas cookies.

We want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.  We can’t thank you enough for helping to make this year our busiest, and most successful to date.  As we take on more milestone birthday parties, nationwide destination events, corporate events, and over-the-top bar and bat mitzvahs in the new year, we will continue our focus on gorgeous and unique design, delicious food, great music (and we mean Great!), and seamlessly orchestrated events.

Wishing you all the best,

Tiffany
